Yoga Garden Pittsboro

  • Thursdays, 6:45-8 pm, in person

    This is a slow paced, inwardly-focused class where we explore releasing tension in the body with the help of our breath, intention and even a few props! After an easygoing warm-up, we get close to the ground, where we settle into each pose, find our edge and practice letting go of physical and mental blocks. Each class ends with a restorative pose and a long Savasana to further deepen the relaxation. This class is suitable for all levels, and individual suggestions for modifications will be provided.

  • Fridays noon - 12:45 pm, in studio and on Zoom, starts January 7th, 2022

    This is an active class designed to energize the body and calm the mind. Perfect for a mid-day pick-me-up!

Carrboro Century Center

  • Fridays, 8:30 - 9:30 am, starts January 25, 2022

    This class will provide a safe space for people of all shapes and sizes to practice yoga through body awareness, breath, movement, and stillness. We will move through gentle seated and standing poses and include a short flowing sequence each week. Ample time will be devoted to relaxation and integration at the end of each class. While this class is suitable for all levels, the ability to get down on the floor and up again would be helpful. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat. Please bring any other yoga props if you have them.

Carrboro Outdoor Yoga

    This is an outdoor class located in a private location in Carrboro. This class is currently on hold for winter. Please join the email list to get updates.

    This class is geared towards all levels of yoga practitioners. After a seated centering meditation, we move through a series of standing, seated and reclined poses combined with a few flowing transitions. Individual modifications and suggestions are provided. We then transition to a guided Savasana to integrate the practice and pranayama and short meditation to finish the class.
